Instructions

In a large bowl mix flour sugar cocoa powder baking powder baking soda and salt
Add oil eggs milk and vanilla extract then mix until smooth
Slowly pour in hot water or coffee and mix well the batter will be thin
Divide batter evenly into pans
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
Let cakes cool completely before frosting
Prepare the frosting
Beat softened butter until creamy and fluffy

Gradually add powdered sugar alternating with milk or cream
