Juicy Mayo-Parmesan Crusted Chicken

A quick and easy weeknight dinner, this baked chicken dish comes out incredibly juicy with a flavorful, golden crust. The creamy mayo-Parmesan topping locks in moisture and adds a rich, cheesy finish the whole family will love.


Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (or substitute with plain Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven
    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Prepare the Topping
    In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well blended.
  3. Prep the Chicken
    Pat the chicken breasts dry using paper towels. Arrange them evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Top the Chicken
    Spread the mayo-Parmesan mixture generously over the top of each chicken breast, covering them completely for best results.
  5. Bake
    Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and the topping is golden and bubbly.
  6. Optional Broil
    For a crispier crust, broil the chicken for the last 2–3 minutes, watching carefully to avoid burning.
  7. Serve
    Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired.
