
Ingredients
1 small piece of fresh aloe vera leaf (about 2 tablespoons gel)
1 glass of warm water
1 tablespoon honey (optional)
A few drops of lemon juice (optional)
Preparation
Wash the aloe vera leaf very well
Cut off the spiky edges
Slice it open and scoop out the clear gel only
Do NOT use the yellow liquid (it is bitter and irritating)
Blend or mix 2 tablespoons of aloe gel with warm water
Add honey or lemon if you like
Drink in the morning on an empty stomach
