Steak & Potato Foil Packets Recipe
Ingredients (Serves 4)
• 4 small beef steaks (sirloin, filet mignon, or ribeye)
• 1.5 lbs baby potatoes (halved or quartered)
• 3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
• 4 cloves garlic (minced)
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp black pepper
• 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
• 1 tsp dried oregano or thyme
• 1 tbsp fresh parsley (for garnish)
• ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat the grill to medium-high heat.
2. Prepare the potatoes: Toss the potatoes with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano.
3. Assemble the foil packets: Tear four large pieces of aluminum foil and divide the potatoes evenly. Place one steak on top of each potato portion. Drizzle extra olive oil or melted butter over the steak.
4. Seal the packets: Fold the foil tightly around the ingredients to create a sealed packet.
5. Cook:
• Oven: Bake for 25-30 minutes.
• Grill: Cook over direct heat for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway.
6. Rest & serve: Let the packets sit for 5 minutes before opening. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
