2 cups milk
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons butter
Chocolate sprinkles or grated chocolate (for topping)
Instructions
In a saucepan, add milk, heavy cream, sugar, and cornstarch. Mix well while cold to avoid lumps
Place on medium heat and keep stirring continuously until the mixture thickens and becomes smooth and creamy
Once thick, add butter and vanilla extract. Stir until fully melted and combined
Pour the mixture into a glass dish or small containers
Let it cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours until fully set
Before serving, sprinkle chocolate on top
Slice or scoop and enjoy that soft, creamy texture
