Mini Foil Pan Salisbury Steak with Potatoes and Carrots
Ingredients
500 g ground beef
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 small onion finely chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
3 medium potatoes sliced
2 carrots cut into chunks
1 small onion sliced
2 cups beef broth
2 tablespoons brown gravy mix or flour
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 teaspoon soy sauce
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C
In a bowl mix ground beef breadcrumbs egg chopped onion garlic Worcestershire sauce salt pepper and paprika until well combined
Form into 4 large patties
Lightly grease small foil pans then add sliced potatoes carrots and onions to each pan
Place one beef patty on top of the vegetables in each pan
In another bowl mix beef broth gravy mix ketchup and soy sauce then pour evenly over each pan
Cover the pans with foil and bake for 45 minutes
Remove the foil and bake another 15 to 20 minutes until the patties are browned and cooked through and the vegetables are tender
Serve hot straight from the pan with the rich gravy
