Ingredients
½ cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 large egg
2 cups all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon baking soda
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Strawberry Hershey’s Kisses (unwrapped)
Pastel sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg, then mix in milk and vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients to form a soft dough.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
- Roll each ball in sprinkles if desired.
- Place on baking sheet and gently flatten slightly.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, until edges are set but centers are still soft.
- Remove from oven and immediately press a strawberry Kiss into the center of each cookie.
- Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
Tips
- Don’t overbake — they should stay pale and soft
- Chill dough 20 minutes if it’s too sticky
- You can use any flavor Kisses (chocolate, white chocolate, etc.)
