
Ingredients
For the cake
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup hot water or hot coffee
For the chocolate glaze
1 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a bundt pan well.
In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
Slowly add hot water or coffee and mix until batter is thin and well combined.
Pour batter into the prepared pan.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a plate and cool completely.
For the glaze
Heat cream until just hot, not boiling.
Pour over chocolate and butter. Let sit 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
Pour glaze over the cooled cake and let set before serving.
