Pink & White Creamy Gelatin Ring Dessert

Ingredients

For the white layer

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin powder
  • ¼ cup cold water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the pink layer

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin powder
  • ¼ cup cold water
  • Pink food coloring or strawberry syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For decoration

  • Fine coconut powder or powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the gelatin
    Sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  2. Make the white layer
    Heat milk, cream, and sugar in a saucepan (do not boil).
    Add bloomed gelatin and stir until fully dissolved.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla.
  3. Pour into mold
    Lightly grease a ring mold.
    Pour half of the white mixture into the mold.
    Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes until slightly set.
  4. Make the pink layer
    Repeat the same steps as the white layer.
    Add pink food coloring or strawberry syrup until desired color.
  5. Layering
    Gently pour pink mixture over the semi-set white layer.
    Chill again for 20 minutes.
    Repeat layers if desired, finishing with pink.
  6. Final chilling
    Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until fully firm.
  7. Unmold & decorate
    Dip the mold briefly in warm water.
    Invert onto a plate.
    Sprinkle coconut or powdered sugar on top.

Tips

  • For stronger flavor, replace pink layer milk with strawberry juice
  • You can use rose flavor for an elegant taste
  • Silicone molds work best for easy release
