Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks Recipe (Big Batch!)

Ingredients:

For the Dough:

  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 ¼ cups warm water (110°F/45°C)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

For the Garlic Butter:

  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • ½ tsp salt

For the Topping:

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese (optional but awesome)
  • Extra melted butter for brushing

Instructions:

1. Make the Dough:

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add olive oil, salt, and flour. Mix and knead until smooth (about 6–8 minutes).
  3. Cover the bowl with a towel and let the dough rise in a warm spot for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

2. Prepare Garlic Butter:

  1. Mix melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, parsley, and salt. Set aside.

3. Assemble:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Grease a large pizza pan or baking sheet.
  3. Roll out the dough to fit your pan — about ½ inch thick.
  4. Brush the dough generously with garlic butter.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan evenly on top.

4. Bake:

  1. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly, and the edges are crispy.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
  3. Slice into thick breadstick strips.
