WOULD ANYONE EAT THIS FRIED CABBAGE WITH BACON, ONION, AND GARLIC

Ingredients:

1 head of cabbage, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 tsp. minced garlic
5 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
Reserved bacon grease
½ tsp. onion powder
½ tsp. garlic powder

Instructions:

Cook the Bacon: In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Reserve the bacon grease in the skillet.

Sauté the Onions and Garlic: Add the chopped onion to the skillet with the reserved bacon grease. Sauté over medium heat until the onion becomes translucent. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Cook the Cabbage: Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet. Stir well to coat the cabbage in the bacon grease. Sprinkle with onion powder and garlic powder. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and slightly caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.

Combine and Serve: Crumble the cooked bacon and add it back to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat everything through.

Serve: Transfer the fried cabbage to a serving dish and enjoy!

Tip:
For an extra flavor boost, you can add a splash of apple cider vinegar or a pinch of red pepper flakes.
