Pink Lemonade


Ingredients:

1 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup water (for simple syrup)
2 cups cold water
1 cup cranberry juice or pomegranate juice (for color)
Ice cubes
Lemon slices (optional, for garnish)
Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:

Make the Simple Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and 1/2 cup water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool.

Prepare the Lemonade Base: In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice and the cooled simple syrup. Stir well.

Add Color and Water: Pour in the cranberry juice or pomegranate juice and the 2 cups of cold water. Stir until well mixed.

Serve: Add ice cubes to the pitcher. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves if desired. Stir before serving.
